Assembly Programmes

We aim to:

-          To develop in students a sense of identity with the school, community and the nation.

-          To develop in students the skills, knowledge and dispositions to manage self and relationships effectively

-          To equip students with personal and social well-being skills

The Assembly programmes bring students together for a range of sharing and experiences that focus on the school values. Using this platform, students celebrate festivals such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Puasa as well as appreciate Arts and Cultural performances. It is also used to anchor school events and commemorate National Education Core events such as Total Defence Day, Racial Harmony Day and National Day.

As we believe in catering programmes and talks to suit the levels, we have many decentralised assembly programmes that are overseen by the Student Development Team. These programmes are customised for the various levels. Some programmes include level talks on effective communications, peer support, stress management and anti-bullying. Birthday celebrations and level bonding games are also conducted during these decentralised assemblies.
